TEKKEN 8 Anna Williams Guide — Elegant Assassin

Updated 2026-06-03

Anna Williams brings her elegant but deadly fighting style to TEKKEN 8 as a DLC character. She is a rushdown fighter with strong pressure tools, a command grab, and tricky stance mix-ups. Her playstyle rewards aggression — if you give your opponent breathing room, you are playing her wrong.

Pressure tools

Anna's main pressure comes from her jab strings and her FC (Full Crouch) game. df+1 into a confirmable string is her staple. She has a notorious low from FC (d+4) that crumples on clean hit. Her command grab (f,f+1+3) is great for closing rounds — it does 55 damage and leaves the opponent at the wall.

MoveInputUse
Jab stringdf+1, 210f punish, safe, frame trap
FC Low Crumpled+4 (from crouch)Launcher on clean hit, risky on block
Command Grabf,f+1+355 damage, wall splat
Heat SmashR1 in HeatMid, + frames on block, great for resetting pressure

Combos

Anna's combos are straightforward. Launch with ws+2, then f+3, b+3, 1 S!, dash, f,f+4, 3. This does about 65 damage. In Heat, activate mid-combo and use Heat Dash to add another b+3, 1 for 80+ damage. Practice the wall carry route — Anna is deadly at the wall with her command grab resets.

Anna's stance (SNK) is accessed via b+3+4. From SNK you have a mid, a low, and a throw. Mix between SNK 2 (mid launcher) and SNK 3 (low sweep) to open up turtles.
